Poet: Susan Shea
A little fountain is calling
dishing out its small awe
telling a recirculating tale
providing a place
where I can sit a while
hear the gentle watery song
of over and over again
making me fall in love
with predictability
until it is enough
and I am ready once again
for the unexpected
persuasions to come
